President's Message
09/07/2004

Dear fellow Rotarians,

Last August 30, 2004, another first in the history of Cavite Rotary had happened; the Joint Induction of Solid Cavite Clubs at Tagaytay International Convention Center. In support to the leadership of District Governor Joel Tinitigan, being the first Caviteño District Governor of District 3810, all the 28 Rotary Clubs in Cavite had agreed to hold a Joint Induction for the first time. And truly, the night was a grand celebration of an event that deserves to be remembered and written in history. Indeed, it is the manifestation of the Caviteño’s unity as we are always known for not only in Rotary but in Philippine history as well.

I would like to congratulate AG Maeng Mercado and IPP Gabe Trias who were in-charge of registration together with RC Tanza. Of course, our lady Rotarians led by Sec. Marni Sy had assisted them in the registration. Thanks again to other officers and members who joined me in the aforementioned occasion, PP Jess Cabel, PP Boyet Castro, Dir. Amy Llave, Dir. Egay Montano, Dir. Anne Bawalan, Treas. Ony Ferrer, ZA and Rtn. Dante Quindoza, Rtn. Connie Gonzaga, Rtn. Jackie Lontoc, Rtn. Jeck Quilapio, Rtn. Norma Valeroso and spouse Larry, Interactors and Rotaractors, and our latest members inducted that night, Baby Rotarians Liza Lallana and Roland Paita.

The feeding program last week had coincided with the Sportsfest of the school and since the kids were tired, we almost ran out of lugaw which was the menu for that day. Thanks again to the Rotarians who helped Dir. Amy in distributing the food.

The month of September is the New Generation Month; we will be sending our Interactors and Rotaractors to the New Generation Conference at Emilio Aguinaldo College in Manila. Aside from that, we have several projects lined up for this month. Thank you for the usual support and cooperation.
