President's Message

Dear fellow Rotarians,

Congratulations to the four Rotaractors headed by the energetic President Kenneth for representing the new Rotaract Club of CEZ in the just concluded New Generation Conference last Saturday. As I said earlier, the new Rotaract leaders are a dependable lot. Of course, the picture will not be complete without the indefatigable MR. ROTARIAN himself, GABE, who it seems enjoy the company of the young, ROTARACT and INTERACT alike! Thank you Gabe.

RI is very particular on its program about the New Generation. We have been enjoined as Rotarians to assume some responsibilities on this program. This is understandable because indeed the Rotary spirit is assured of continuity if we attend to the youth – the ideal and fertile source of future Rotarians. Starting them young will be for Rotary’s benefit. Read more about your responsibility in this edition.

May I ask your personal presence on September 27, 2005 at 7:00 o’clock in the evening at the Function Room, CEZ Administration Building in connection with the Joint Meeting with our Sister Club, RC PARAÑAQUE-SUCAT. Rep. Gilbert Remulla will be our Guest of Honor and Speaker.

The Feeding Program last Friday, September 16th, was aborted because of the inclement weather. It was the consensus that very few pupils, if any, will be present on said date for the said program, thus rendering to naught the food prepared for the purpose.

Later that day, a fraternity brother of ours, Aris Ramos, texted Rotarian Joel Lopez that there were no classes at Bacao Elementary School, on said day.

Tama talaga si Marni!
