RC Soo-Ji, District 3600-Korea Visits Bahay San Rafael

May 16, 2008, Amadeo, Cavite - Sharing President Marni Sy and other members of Rotary Club of Cavite Export Processing Zone including William McCaw, the main contributor of the Bahay San Rafael Support Program, with partner in service from Rotary Club of Soo-Ji District 3600-Korea led by President Kim Kwan-Gyo with Club Rotary Foundation Chairman Ahn Sung-Hwan and Service Projects Director You Jae-Cheol visited Bahay San Rafael in Amadeo, Cavite. The Korean partners for the Bahay San Rafael Support Program (MG# 64914) flew direct from Korea on May 15th to visit the matching grant project and represent Rotary Club of West Icheon in the official unveiling of the Potable Water Project in Cavite State University-Rosario. RC CEPZ and RC Soo-Ji also presented the charter certificate of the Rotary Community Corps of Volunteer Care for Special Children organized for the Bahay San Rafael Support Program.

Bahay San Rafael Support Program is a project approved with The Rotary Foundation Matching Grant #64914 to uplift the living condition and assist in delivering the basic needs, health and well being of 10 children ages between 10 to 14 for a period of one year.

RCC Volunteer Care for Special Children Receives Charter Certificate

May 16, 2008, Amadeo, Cavite - Sharing President Marni Sy with Rtn. & Paul Harris Fellow William McCaw, the main contributor in the Bahay San Rafael Support Program and RC Soo-Ji President Kim Kwan-Gyo officially presentated the RCC Charter Certificate from Rotary International to the RCC Representative and President of the newly formed Rotary Community Corps of Volunteer Care for Special Children (RCC VCSC) Ida Crisologo.
