Community Service Menu of Activities

  • Organize a new RVC (Rotary Village Corps) and establish cooperatives within it.
  • Sponsor projects that will address the needs of the aging or the disabled or the hungry or undernourished or the homeless or the physically abused.
  • Sponsor a project that will address environmental concerns and the preservation of the planet earth like pollution control, etc.
  • Sponsor projects that will help promote/enhance rural/urban and/or community/countryside development.
  • Sponsor a drug abuse prevention program.
  • Conduct free medical and dental services in depressed areas of your community.
  • Sponsor a functional literacy project in your community.
  • Sponsor a project that will address a major health or nutrition concern in the community.
  • Sponsor projects in public safety and order and effective traffic management.
  • Support the District's Disaster Relief programs by way of pledges in cash or in kind. Added bonus points if pledges are made good in the event disaster occurs.

Inspired by the Philippine STAR’s Filipino Soldiers for Peace Fund and introduced by Rotarian Chino Rivas (Auditor RY 2000-2001). The project calls for just 1 peso contribution from the 70,000 workers of Cavite Economic Zone which will be donated to the cause. A motorcade was held inside the Zone on June 1, 2000 to inaugurate the campaign.

Purpose : To support Filipino soldiers fighting for peace in Mindanao.

Beneficiaries : Filipino soldiers in Mindanao (Philippine STAR's Filipino Soldiers for Peace Fund)

50% of the Project Cost in the amount of P50,000.00 will be sponsored by the Rotary Club of CEPZ coming from the proceeds of the First Zone Administrator's Cup Golf Tournament otherwise known as the 3rd RC-CEPZ Invitational Golf Tournament. 50% of the Project Cost in the amount of P50,000.00 to be sponsored by fellow Rotarian and Engineer Armando "Jun" Ducat, Jr. of Lebelado Construction.

Purpose : To provide shelter to CEZ workers passing thru the backdoor gate of the zone.
