A joint project of the Rotary Club of Cavite Export Processing Zone and the Rotary Club of Rosario in coordination with the Cavite Economic Zone. Guest Speakers include:

Purpose : To provide information on ways to control the drug abuse menace in the country and especially at the workplace.

Medical/Dental/Chest X-Ray Mission 2000

Date : September 24, 2000
Venue : Ligtong Elementary School, Rosario, Cavite

A joint project of the Rotary Club of Cavite Export Processing Zone, Rotary Club of Rosario, Rotary Club of University District Manila and Mayor of Rosario, Cavite and fellow Rotarian Renato Abutan.

Purpose : Conduct free medical, dental and chest x-ray services for the less fortunate brethren in the depressed areas of the town of Rosario.

Beneficiaries : Barangay Ligtong, Rosario, Cavite

Supplemental Feeding Program 2000

Date : August 24, 2000 - January 25, 2001
Venue : Silangan Elementary School, Rosario, Cavite

A project of the Rotary Club of Cavite Export Processing Zone to last from August 24, 2000 to January 25, 2001 or six months duration.

Purpose : To provide a nutrition program for malnourished students/children in Silangan Elementary School.

Inspired by the Philippine STAR’s Filipino Soldiers for Peace Fund and introduced by Rotarian Chino Rivas (Auditor RY 2000-2001). The project calls for just 1 peso contribution from the 70,000 workers of Cavite Economic Zone which will be donated to the cause. A motorcade was held inside the Zone on June 1, 2000 to inaugurate the campaign.

Purpose : To support Filipino soldiers fighting for peace in Mindanao.

Beneficiaries : Filipino soldiers in Mindanao (Philippine STAR's Filipino Soldiers for Peace Fund)

Sustaining and Continuity of RVC II (Garbage Recycling)

Garbage Recycling - a livelihood project at Barangay Tramo near the Incinerator Area.

Purpose : To provide a means of livelihood for the less fortunate brethren in barangay Tramo, in the town of Rosario.
