Matching Grant #64498 Potable Water Project Unveiled

March 8, 2008, Rosario National High School - RC CEPZ Sharing President Marni Sy of District 3810-Philippines together with RC West Icheon Sharing President Yang Kap-Yong of District 3600-South Korea cut the ribbon to officially unveil the water station built for the Potable Water Project Matching Grant #64498. Special guests during the historical ribbon cutting of the water station include District 3810 Governor Paco Atayde, the Honorable Mayor of Rosario, Cavite Atty. Nonong Ricafrente and Dr. Vicky Pamienta, ASDS from the Department of Education representing the School Division Superintendent Nelda G. Dator.

District Governor Paco Atayde and Hon. Mayor Nonong Ricafrente congratulated both clubs headed by President Marni Sy and President Yang Kap-Yong and the school administration led by OIC Eduarda M. Zapanta and RCC PTCA President Rodolfo Abadilla.

The Potable Water Project will provide free drinking water to thousands of students in the school. A MOA between RC CEPZ, the school administration and RCC PTCA organized in that school was signed to keep the whole project under the control of RC CEPZ. Interact Club of Rosario National High School in cooperation with the school administration and RCC PTCA is also included to manage, operate and maintain the project.

RC CEPZ President Marni and RC West Icheon President Yang Kap Yong officially presented the charter certificate of the new Rotary Community Corps of Rosario National High School Parents, Teachers & Community Association, Inc to RCC Representative & RNHS Interact Club Adviser Eduarda M. Zapanta and RCC RNHS PTCA President Rodolfo Abadilla. A symbolic key was also handed over to Ms. Zapanta and Mr. Abadilla to officially turnover the management and operation of the Potable Water Station.
