Project Title: Street Children's Christmas Party
Objectives: To celebrate the spirit of Christmas, provide entertainment and gift giving for the less fortunate street children of Rosario.

Problems We Encountered:
1. Lack of sponsors for the gifts of the street children.
  Only received NEW clothes from Clothing Innovations & Design, Inc. and toys from MetroBank c/o Rotarian Amy Reyes.
Brief Description of the Project: This project started in 1996 during the term of Past President Jess Cabel of our sponsoring Rotary Club - the Rotary Club of CEPZ. Since the family of the street children may not be able to afford gifts for their children, this project is being held annually to bring smiles to these unfortunate kids. They will be personally invited by our organizing committee who will be handing out stubs in remote squatter areas. These stubs will entitle them for free food, drinks and gifts during the program.

Project Title: Dengue Awareness Program
Objectives: Help in the information campaign of preventing Dengue Fever.
Date of Venue: November 17, 2001
Nature of Project: Club Project
Time Frame of the Project: Regular monthly distribution of flyers.
Budget/Expense: The only expense for this project is the printing of the flyers which costs P 300 only.
Problems Encountered: None.
Brief Description of the Project: Due to increasing cases of Dengue Fever, a Dengue Prevention Program was organized. A flyer with information on the dangers of Dengue Fever was distributed at different public places.

Project Title: SCREAM 2
Objectives: Raise funds for the upcoming Christmas Party and Gift Giving for the street children of our community.

Time Frame of the Project: Organization of the project started end of August, 2001. Promotional campaign went on for the whole month of October, 2001. Actual party was on Halloween day on October 31, 2001.

Problems Encountered:
1. High cost of decorative materials prevented us from decorating the site completely.
  The club decided to use whatever resources without any cost to the club for the decorations. Used only a quarter of the budget of P 2,000.00.
2. Lost control of sale of tickets.
  Unsold tickets were not surrendered accordingly to identify actual tickets sold. For future similar projects, ticket sale will be done by each member who will be obliged to pay unsold tickets not returned. A deposit will be required for the full amount of tickets received.
3. Lack of ticket sales.
  Due to a short time in preparation, ticket sales was low. Preparation must be at least 2 months ahead of time.
Brief Description of the Project: In order to fund the annual Street Children Gift Giving and Christmas Party, a Fund Raising Halloween party was organized. Sponsor Tickets were sold to sponsors at a higher price. Regular tickets were distributed to assure the sale of at least equal the budget.

Delegates from Rotaract Club of CEPZ led all the participants from Cavite Economic Zone.

Project Title: Municipal Alay Lakad 2001
Objectives: Extend assistance to the Alay Lakad Foundation of the Philippines.

2. Joint with sponsoring Rotary Club of Cavite Export Processing Zone
Time Frame of the Project: 1 day
Budget/Expense: none
Problems Encountered:
1. Lack of participation from other members and Interact clubs.
  Due to an early assembly time, only a number of delegates joined the National Alay Lakad this year. Other Interact members were not able to join due to previous requirements at their own respective schools.
Brief Description of the Project: In addition to the National Alay Lakad being held annually, a Municipal Alay Lakad is being organized annually in cooperation with the Rotary Club of Rosario. Assembly is at 2 different location where these 2 groups will converge at the town plaza of Rosario in Cavite.

25 delegates from Rotaract Club of CEPZ and Interact Club of Tejeros Convention joined the National Alay Lakad 2001.

Project Title: National Alay Lakad 2001
Objectives: Extend assistance to the Alay Lakad Foundation of the Philippines.

Problems Encountered:
1. Lack of participation from other members.
  Due to an early assembly time and distant venue, only 25 delegates joined the National Alay Lakad this year. A t-shirt was given out to participating members and officers. Next year, more incentives will be given out to participating members.
Brief Description of the Project: Held annually by the Alay Lakad Foundation, Rotary International District 3810 and 3830 joined this year's National Alay Lakad. Assembly is at PICC in Manila which will take the route to Luneta, the final destination of the Alay Lakad.

RAC CEPZ President Hazel Dayoc plants a tree while other RAC CEPZ and IAC Tejeros Convention members look on during the inauguration of the Save the Earth Project to be implemented in January, 2001.

Project Title: Save the Earth Project
Objectives: Plant at least 200 trees in different parts of the community saving Mother Earth from different elements of destruction like pollution, etc.
Date of Venue: Inaugurated on August 18, 2001 to be implemented monthly starting January 1, 2002.

Time Frame of the Project: Regular monthly planting of trees until the end of Rotary year 2001-2002.

Problems Encountered: None.
Brief Description of the Project: To continue everyone's concern to save Mother Earth, our club decided to plant at least 200 trees during the Rotary Year. The clubs will be planting a minimum of 40 trees every month starting January, 2001.
