D3810 Medical Mission Patients Interview

November 21, 2010, Rosario, Cavite - Rotaract Club of Cavite Economic Zone's PE Raemonn Panganiban and Lalaine Alemania conducted iinterviews of patients availing of the free medical service.

Q1: How did you know that we are going to conduct a Medical Mission here in Rosario?

A: Our barangay councilor told us about this.

Q2: How did you get here?

A: There is a van provided by the Municipal Government for us.

Q3: How many of you who came here?

A: In our barangay, we have a total of more or less 50 participants. With me is my daughter and three of my grandchildren.

Q4: Why did you get here?

A: I am experiencing a painful urination. I hope the doctors here can give me some medicine.

Q5: Doesnít the government in your municipality and barangay provide medical assistance or conduct medical missions like this?

A: They conducted a medical mission many years ago but since that year, which I donít even remember, it has never been repeated.

Q6: Does a Medical Mission like this help you or not?

A: Yes, this is a big help to people like us who can not avail to go to hospital and pay a doctor, since the municipal government can not provide all of us free medical assistance.

Q7: What are the services that you are going to consume/have consumed already?

A: Only the free Medical services.

Q1: How did you know that we are going to conduct a Medical Mission here in Rosario?

A: The Barangay Health Center told us about this.

Q2: How did you get here?

A: We just commute in a bus.

Q3: How many of you who came here?

A: I am with my neighbors and with me is my 2 year old daughter.

Q4: Why did you come here?

A: I wanted to avail the free services here, specifically the free medical and optical services.

Q5: Doesnít the government in your municipality and barangay provide medical assistance or conduct medical missions like this?

A: They conduct medical missions but there are not enough medicines and services provided by our barangay.

Q6: Does a Medical Mission like this help you or not?

A: It helps me a lot, especially my daughter. I am already done with the medical and they gave us vitamins for my daughter. It helps a lot also financially. Since we are not financially stable, this helps a lot for my family.

Q7: What do you think are the things which are not organized here?

A: There is not enough crowd control in the Optical Area a while ago. The numbers are unorganized. But it has already been resolved.
