Rosario Alternative Learning System
Rotary Community Corps Organized

May 9, 2008, Rosario Elementary School, Rosario, Cavite - Legacy President Roland Paita and Past President Gabe Trias met with a group of educators mainly from the Department of Education Alternative Learning System Bureau from Rosario to form the Rosario Alternative Learning System Rotary Community Corps (RALS RCC). Headed by Norielyn C. Narciso, the group discussed their current projects on literacy with non-formal education aimed to empower the citizens with the desirable knowledge, skills, attitudes and values that will enable them to think critically, innovatively and humanely in improving the quality of their lives and that of their families, community and country.

RALS RCC is now working on a project that will be applied for a grant from The Rotary Foundation. The new RCC will be registered with Rotary International for chartering.
