10 Most Outstanding Workers of CEZ Honored
December 19, 2008, Cavite Economic Zone - Rotary Club of CEPZ led by Legacy President Roland Paita honored the winners of the 10 Most Outstanding Workers of Cavite Economic Zone during the 2008 MOWoC Awards at the Grand Workers' Night celebration for the thousands of workers inside the zone. Rosario Municipal Administrator Bambam Gonzales (representing one of the Guests of Honor Hon. Nonong Ricafrente, Mayor of Rosario, Cavite), Cavite Export Zone Investors Association President Nobuo Fujii and PP Ronilo Nepomuceno (representing CEZ Administrator Tereso Panga) presented the Certificate of Recognition and the cash reward of P10,000 each to the recipients of this year's MOWoC Awards.
RC CEPZ members present to honor the winners with the Legacy President Roland were Senior Deputy Governor Maeng Mercado, Assistant Governor Marni Sy, Service Projects Director PP Boyet Castro, PP Gabe Trias, VP Norma Valeroso, Rtn. Tess Doneza and Treasurer Ding Arias. Also present was Sharing President Lai dela Cruz of the Rotary Club of Dasmariñas who was one of the judges who selected the winners.

The winners were selected during an interview of the nominees last December 12th at the CEZIA Clubhouse by a panel of judges composed of Rotarians SDG Caloy Ocampo, AG Lai dela Cruz, SDG Art San Jose and Rizal Bautista from TESDA.
CEZIA President Nobuo Fujii with Secretary General Marcy Velando and Directors Jose "Pitong" Cabral, Jun Matabuena and Romy Masangkay, in behalf of the member companies of CEZIA and its board of directors presented raffle prizes throughout the Grand Workers' Night.

The 10 Most Outstanding Workers of CEZ awards (MoWOC Awards) is an annual affair involving rank and file and factory workers from Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) registered zone enterprises within the Cavite Economic Zone (CEZ).
The project is jointly undertaken by the Rotary Club of Cavite Export Processing Zone (RC CEPZ) and the Cavite Export Zone Investors Association (CEZIA) in coordination with the CEZ Administration.
This annual affair is conducted in pursuit of the following objectives:
To publicly acknowledge the workers’ contribution to the success of their respective companies.
To give workers a sense of pride in the toils of their labor.
To promote excellent work values and attitudes among workers and employers in order to enhance the industrial peace within the CEZ.
To promote fellowship and understanding among workers and employers in order to enhance the industrial peace within the CEZ.
