Vocational Service Menu of Activites

  • Conduct a club program that will encourage club members to volunteer in Vocational Service projects, both local and international. Additional 2 points for each member who actually registers for a project.
  • Sponsor a career development project or program, either for the youth or the disabled in our community.
  • Sponsor either a Vocational Training scholarship or a skills-retraining project in your community.
  • Have members of your club conduct classification talks in club meeting and/or hold plant visits to update other members on current trends and developments in other vocational fields.
  • Recognize one or more members of your community for his/her achievements within his/her vocation.
  • Sponsor a project in your community that will help increase employment opportunities, promote positive labor management relations (industrial peace), value formation and food ethical practices in the workplace.
  • Sponsor or conduct a program or project that will help promote application of the 4-Way Test in business or professional field, among the youth or the community in general.

An annual tradition and the culminating activity for the month-long  anniversary celebration of the Cavite Economic Zone. This year, we again staged the CEZ FLORES DE MAYO 2000: Friendship and Harmony Through Cultural Sharing. This festival was highlighted by the Annual Search for the MISS CEZ May Flower 2000, for which the GRAND CORONATION night  coincided with the FLORES de MAYO in the evening of May 20, 2000.

Purpose : To promote the rich cultural and social traditions of the Philippines and share them with our foreign friends inside this Cavite Economic Zone. Also, with this activity, we seek to enhance and develop harmonious relations between investors and employees with INDUSTRIAL PEACE as our ultimate goal.

Beneficiaries : CEZ populace

Budget : P 247,000.00

Winners of the 10 Most Outstanding Workers of CEZ '99 received P 10,000.00 each in addition to a plaque and a certificate of recognition. The prize money was double compared to last year's award courtesy of the Gov. of Cavite Hon. Bong Revilla.
